well, i get your point.

however, you have to keep in mind that a lot of old posts (especially the ones with video) are from my old tumblr which was setup last year (and deleted) - therefore the number of notes (in those posts) is remarkably higher.

furthermore the number of notes (reblogs) necessarily does not reflect the number of downloads.

but you’re right: it shows the general interest of the tumblr audience (and what “they” like).

therefore i still try to keep the posts well-balanced (and do not respond to each and every request which pops up in my inbox)
